Adding Tabs for Pages under the Blogger Header

I have been burning the midnight oil tonight trying to figure out how to add TABS under my blogger HEADER.  I tried this and that only to realize it didn't work.  I finally "googled" my question and got my answer (geez, why didn't I think of asking google about six hours earlier?).

Here is a link that gives straightforward instructions on how to add stand-alone PAGES to Blogger.  When a page is created, an option is available for posting the page to the sidebar or to the top.  Whew, now that was simple!
